    Golf Classic

    • Pre-Tourney
      • I am still waiting on a number of names for players, please, please, please get these names to me ASAP. If you know people will not make your group, please let me know ASAP so we can consolidate our groups, pick up pace of play, and help you meet someone new by getting a single registrant in your foursome! Also, please get your payment in if you have not done so already – you know who you are!
    • Directions
      • Just off I-80 Exit 134 in Parley’s Canyon. Head left under the highway and then right on the frontage road. The clubhouse will be on your left.
    • Weather
      • We should be in for a fantastic day. However, a jacket may not be a bad idea in the morning for check-in and breakfast.
    • Check-In
      • 7:00 AM with continental breakfast – it’s probably a good idea to eat beforehand, but we will have drinks, fruit, yogurt, and pastries for you at the clubhouse as you arrive.
      • Please make sure every player checks in with the registration desk. We will have a Welcome Package and gift for each player that checks-in. If you are a sponsor, please check in with me.
    • Shotgun Start
      • 8:00 AM sharpContest holes as well as rules for use of the Fruit by the Foot will be on the Rules Sheet included in your Welcome Package (also attached here).
      • DRINK TICKETS – Each golfer will be given four drink tickets in their Welcome Package. THERE WILL BE NO DRINK CART, BUT HERE’S WHAT YOU DO – if you are playing the Lake Course – you will pass the Snack Shack on four separate occasions during the course of your round. If you are playing the Canyon Course you will pass the Snack Shack two times and pass the clubhouse once. Use your tickets at these locations! Each ticket is the equivalent of $1.00 good for sodas, beer, snacks, etc. Many of the sponsors will also have coolers on their holes with beverages and snacks.
    • Scholarship Donation
      • To help raise funds for the UAPA Scholarship Fund we will be selling Fruit by the Foot rolls for $20/each. 4 max/foursome. You will find these for sale at the scholarship/swag table. These will help lower your score and every foot you buy will go a mile in someone’s life towards their education. If you pre-bought rolls, please make sure you get them from the registration desk upon check-in.
      • Should you so choose, if you make a larger donation to the scholarship fund ($35, $70, or $105) we will give you a Black Clover hat ($35); a very nice Nike or Black Clover polo ($70); or a Black Clover Knit Quarter Zip ($105). You can find these items at the scholarship/swag table that will be set up near the registration desk.
    • Charity Donation
      • This year we have the chance to help Operation Underground Railroad as our Charity of Choice for the tournament. Hole #2 Canyon and Hole #17 Lake will be our donation holes for the charity. $20 total will get your foursome a hole-in-one and four extra tickets for the prize drawing. 100% of the proceeds will go towards the charity. To learn more about Operation Underground Railroad click HERE
    •  Lunch and Prizes
      • Make sure you stick around for our luncheon after tournament play concludes. We’ll recognize the winners from each course, have a small presentation from Operation Underground Railroad, and give away over $6,000 in prizes! Must be present to win.
      • Everyone is given one ticket in their Welcome Package. Extra tickets for the prize drawing can be purchased prior to the tournament and during the luncheon. 5 for $10 or 10 for $20. 100% of the extra ticket sales will go towards Operation Underground Railroad.
    • Last Thought
      • We have become a victim of our own success for this tournament. I’m not going to lie, there will be a lot of people playing next Wednesday on both courses. The way this tournament has grown over the last few years due to your continued support is simply amazing. However, pace of play will suffer somewhat, and I know that will frustrate some of you. In light of that, please look on the bright side; you get to play golf on a beautiful day; you get to make a difference in someone’s life with your donations; and you have a chance to win some great prizes when it is all said and done. For me, that’s a glass half-full kind of day and I would encourage you to enjoy it as much as possible. We’ve designed this tournament to give you a quick break from the heart of the season and as a chance to remember what really matters in life when it is all said and done ……. prizes! Whoops, I mean the chance to help others and give something back. Above all, THANK YOU for helping to make a difference! I look forward to seeing you on Wednesday.
