We love it when a client receives a new award certificate to put on the wall, or a new statue to dust, but not because it tickles our professional vanity (although it certainly does that, too). We are passionate about the quality of the work we do, and we want our clients to benefit from our best efforts on their behalf. For us, having a client’s marketing campaign, magazine, newsletter, website or other communication effort earn an award is about more than winning. We want to know what works and what doesn’t. We want to make sure that the work we do on behalf of our clients is, in fact, excellent.

The Hermes Creative Awards is an international competition, well into its 3rd decade, for creative professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of traditional materials and programs, and emerging technologies. The Hermes Awards are administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communications, an association of several thousand marketing and communication professionals.

Entries are judged on the creativity and quality of the presentation, and the competition had earned a reputation for accuracy, fairness and credibility. A look at the winners of the Hermes Creative Awards is typically reflective of a list of “who’s who” in the creative industry.

The Pearl Awards are the longest running and most prestigious content marketing awards program in the United States and have been celebrating excellence in content marketing since 2004. Content Marketers—small and large; B2B and B2C; representing clients in a wide range of industries; and producing programs across multiple channels—have had the honor of winning a Pearl Award over the last 13 years.

The first Pearl Awards were held in 2004 in Chicago to celebrate the best in custom publishing. They have since been universally recognized as the industry standard bearer for content marketing awards and are held in New York City every year in November. The Pearl Awards are administered by The Content Council.

APEX (Awards for Publishing Excellence) is an annual competition for publishers, editors, writers and designers who create print, Web, electronic and social media. Now in its 29th year, the APEX awards recognize extraordinary work by professional communicators.

The awards are based on excellence in graphic design, quality of editorial content and the success of the entry in conveying the message and achieving overall communications effectiveness. Thousands of entries are received each year from all over the world, and winners are representative of the most prestigious creators in the industry.What makes APEX particularly valuable for winners is the feedback that winning entries receive from the judging panel.
